Abstract:
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a relatively common and potentially life-threatening disease. It is often misdiagnosed, or the diagnosis is delayed because of its diverse clinical manifestations, it may even remain asymptomatic until sudden death. Early diagnosis can greatly reduce the morbidity and mortality of this disease. Thus, we reviewed clinical features of patients delayed diagnosed to raise the awareness of pulmonary embolism in atypical patients.
